Historical Photograph Collection

The buildings tell one part of Cue's story. The photographs show you the people who filled them.

Hundreds of historical photographs are displayed across two storeys of the Shire Office , creating an extraordinary visual record of Cue and the Murchison goldfields.

The collection captures early Cue, local families, businesses, streets, buildings, mining activity and everyday life — putting faces to the history visitors can still see around town today.

Several attractions around Cue are reached by unsealed roads. Conditions can change quickly after rain and mobile coverage may be limited once you leave town. Carry water, allow plenty of daylight and check current conditions before heading out.
