Contracted ranger services

The Shire of Cue engages contracted Rangers who visit Cue regularly to undertake patrols, respond to reported matters and assist with animal management and local law compliance.

Ranger enquiries and requests should be lodged with the Shire office. This allows the matter to be recorded and provided to the Ranger for follow-up.

Ranger enquiries

Ranger services cover a range of animal management, public place and local law matters within the Shire.

Dogs & Cats

Dog and cat registration enquiries, roaming animals, nuisance concerns, lost or found animals and responsible pet ownership.

Roaming & Stray Animals

Reports of roaming, unrestrained or stray animals can be lodged with the Shire for Ranger follow-up.

Public Places

Ranger services may assist with activities in public places, parking matters and other issues regulated by the Shire's local laws.

Camping & Local Laws

Enquiries about camping, use of public land and other matters covered by Shire local laws can be referred to the Ranger service.

If you are unsure whether a matter falls within Ranger Services, contact the Shire and staff can direct your enquiry appropriately.

Pet owners are responsible for keeping their animals safely contained and under control when in public places.

Contact the Shire for information about dog and cat registration, local requirements or an animal management concern.

• Description of the animal, vehicle or activity
• Any identifying details you observed
• Photographs, where available and safe to obtain
