Outback seasons

May to October is the most popular time to explore Cue, with milder days making it ideal for walking, exploring heritage sites and heading further into the Murchison.

After good winter rainfall, the surrounding country can come alive with wildflowers. Summer is considerably hotter, so travellers should prepare carefully for remote-area conditions.
